Tid Bits
- I just heard Bill Clinton say that Republicans feel like they have to oppose health care reform because if they don’t the Democrats will be in office for the next 30 years. How on earth does this guy get any respect? No other possible reasons, Bill? None? You’re an idiot.
- And now for a couple of classic quotes from today’s Conversations with Casey:
Louis James: “…our savior Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for boldly intending to wage peace. Really. Any day now.”
and
Louis James: Well, after all, Gore is the genius who invented the Internet – I’m sure he must have thought about proposing to study the possibility of intending to do something peaceful, if elected president….”
Doug: No, no; he got a peace prize for terrorizing children around the world about global warming.
- Lindsey Graham continues to make a fool of himself while clinging to his beloved (and profitable) neocon platform. This week he whines about Ron Paul, declaring that he won’t let the good doctor take over the Republican Party. Paul is on Blitzer (CNN) and The Ed Show (MSNBC) today to respond. Keep an eye on Campaign for Liberty. I’m sure they’ll have afterthoughts, etc.
- What a great weekend this was. The angels beat the BOSTON Redsox, the Avs beat the BOSTON Bruins and the Broncos beat the BOSTON Patriots. No offense Boston fans, but YAY!
- Quiz: Who do you think will run for office for the Republican party in 2012? There has been some Ron Paul/Sarah Palin speculation. Maybe. If so, I’d cast that vote.
OK. See ya next time.
